ATS Small Unit Actions I: The Capture of Balta

The Advanced Tobruk System takes you to the village of Balta, 120 miles northwest of Odessa not far from the border of Ukraine and Romania. It was there in 1941 that a joint assault on the village by German and Romanian units was interrupted by a pre-emptive Soviet attack, kicked off by a wave fighter-bombers and followed by stiff, combined-arms resistance from within the town itself. This module marks the debut of Romanian troops and equipment in the ATS milieu.
