Boutwood: Cooperative Boss Battler

Boutwood is a cooperative boss battler for 1-4 players. Take on the role of various animal characters with different playstyles. Coordinate your actions, defend the forest core and defeat the attacking boss as a team. There are currently 6 playable animal Survivors and 1 Boss-AI. Survivors: Bear wants to be in the middle of the fight, getting stronger as he takes damage. Frog plans his actions in advance, placing deadly poison around the board. Crow moves quickly, giving her allies the opportunity to attack or helps them escape from danger. Squirrel shoots his acorns from afar, attacking from a safe position before running in to get his acorns back. Deer and her bird familiar coordinate together in order to attack monsters and help their allies. Fox jumps into fights to chain her attacks, just to get out of danger in the right moment. Boss: The Spider Queen traps her victims in deadly webs and sends her spiderlings to attack the forest core. —description from the designer
